Follow the next five years for Cameron Stanton and Ashley
Tucker………..
If happiness is a gift.
Then Cameron Stanton is my Santa Claus.
I can’t tell you the exact moment I fell in love with him.
Only that I did.
With every glance, every touch, every minute…. he stole a little more of me.
They say that all men are created equal.
Well that’s a blatant lie!
I know because I met Gods gift to women in Vegas,
I pretended he was my husband to get rid of another man.
He took our fake marriage seriously and it became his
personal goal to consummate.
He spoke to me in French and I lied to him in German.
His laughter was addictive.
But I thought what happens in Vegas would stay in Vegas.
Until it didn’t.
Dr. Stanton turned up where I least expected and my lies came back to haunt me.
The attraction is palpable.
The secrets unchangeable.
I need him more than air.

Reviews
Oh the humour in this is fantastic and had me chuckling out loud.

Dr Cameron Stanton and Dr Ashley Tucker are living the dream, together with their young son. Ashley is nearing the completion of her studies and Cam is a very successful cardiac surgeon. Cameron has his heart set on something else though.

The banter between the lead characters is fantastic, you almost feel like you are there with them. So much fun and more importantly so real! They work long hours and get tired and worn out just like everyone else.

The passion is off the charts and definitely shows how close the bond is between Cameron and Ashley. Her little digs about his not having a romantic bone in his body is not only funny but so much like conversations I’ve had personally!

Just when you think this series couldn’t get any better..it does!

And this series just keeps getting better and better. What a fantastic and perfect ending to this part of the story. I can only hope that this series doesn’t end here. This story is continuing the same vein as the rest of the books and you find yourself laughing hysterically.

This is a great novella that sees Cameron wanting to bite the bullet on forever with Ashely. This book is a huge recommendation from me but I really suggest that all previous books including the Stanton serious are read first. You won’t be disappointed the whole Stanton world is amazing.

You are totally drawn into the book and swept away in every emotion the characters feel, you will laugh, cry, get angry and maybe even want to slap the beautiful but sometimes insanely annoying Dr Stanton! But honestly Ladies, after reading the rest of this amazing series you will probably want to keep him for yourself. Do yourself a huge solid and grab a copy of the Stanton books NOW!!!

Our Reviews of Defiant Queen by Meghan March

The Mount Trilogy continues with

Defiant Queen…

I’m his entertainment. His toy. Payment on a debt.

I tell myself I hate him, but every time he walks into the room, my body betrays me. How can I want him and fear him in the same moment?

They told me he’d mess with my head. Make it go to war with my body.

But I didn’t realize it would be complete anarchy.

I should’ve known better. When Mount’s involved, there are no rules.

I will not surrender. I will not show weakness. I’ll stand my ground and make it out of this bargain with my heart and soul intact.

But he has other plans . . .

Defiant Queen is the second book of the Mount Trilogy. Mount and Keira’s story concludes in Sinful Empire.

Reviews

Wow! This second book in the series really packs a punch, just like the first book!

Keira is indebted to Lachlan Mount and although defies him, and shows him her own kind of rebellion, she finds things a little harder to digest with the changes he has made in her life. Mount himself struggles with the way things are going, to some degree, as well.

With baited breath I started reading this book and at once, again, became engrossed in everything Keira Kilgore and Lachlan Mount. The roller coaster of emotions takes you on quite a ride where you chuckle one minute and your heart rate speeds up with worry the next!

Plenty of action and drama as well as passion is woven into the story. A touch of romance enters and really shakes things up. It was educational to learn about running a whiskey distillery, a nice little touch to add to the overall solid storyline.

Another incredible cliffhanger to whet the reader’s thirst for the story continuation and once again completely unexpected, like all of the twists and turns in the story. Great stuff!

Bring on book 3…please!

The more I read about Lachlan Mount the more I fall for his bad boy charm! In this the second book we get to see some of what made the man who he is today, and you can kind of understand the detachment and walls he has up around himself… As the title alludes to Keira is the Defiant Queen to Mounts King! She is a hellion spitfire who fights him at every turn, with her sassy attitude and fiery personality… the chemistry in this one is ramped up as Mount turns up the heat in order to try and claim Keira’s mind, body and soul… Hotness overload I can’t wait to read the conclusion!!

Some would say I have a privileged life. Daughter of the current President of the United States, wealthy, famous, and all things that some girls wish they had.

Only I’d dream of having a simple life. A life where I wasn’t marrying the scariest man I have ever met. Well, I thought I had just met him, but it turns out, there’s so much I don’t know about myself. That’s all thanks to a past so twisted, so warped, that no amount of money, or presidential status could wipe it clean.

I’m the rebel child. Or as some may see it, the disappointment. I’ve never cared about expensive wedding gowns, or how much someone paid for a tailored suit. I don’t care if your wedding dress is from Walmart, or if it’s from some fancy, upscale designer line.

So why am I marrying the devil dressed in a thousand-dollar
suit?

I’m about to find out how I got here. To marrying one of the most powerful men in the country. The road to finding out, though, is paved with darkness, painted with the blood of innocents, and it leads my ass straight to hell. Only this hell is a multi-million-dollar penthouse suite in New York City where Bryant Saint Royal, sits on his throne.

Wow… EPIC story once again!! I was turned inside out and upside down by all that was going on in this book! This is not a story for the faint of heart, be warned this is totally dark, totally twisted but totally insanely great… with an ending that will leave you speechless and wondering ‘what the hell just happened?’ I’m so freaking excited but also a little scared to see how far Amo will take this series!! Another incredible story by this very talented but somewhat scary author!

Isa is the daughter of the President of the USA and knows she is a round peg trying to fit into a square hole in her world. Brantley is a rich, powerful man in his early thirties who takes an avid interest in her. I can’t say too much more or I’ll give away too much.

Lurid descriptions of both characters and scenes throughout the story give extremely graphic details to enable you to feel like you are there watching everything unfold. It certainly keeps you on your toes with the fast pace of the story. Things become very wild on this Crowned by Hate ride.

This author uses some fantastic expressions like this one…
‘He’s maxed out of ego fuel.’
…when ISA talks about Brantley after meeting him at a fundraiser.

Little snippets of the story puzzle are littered throughout and yet I do believe it will take all three books to really comprehend this story fully. Bring it on sister!

Where do I begin to review a book that I neither loved or hated. I just found this story to be very flat and was dark more for the shock factor rather than out of necessity. Now don’t get me wrong. I love Amo Jones and her writing but this book just wasn’t for me. I may be over dark, I really don’t know. The book was well written in saying that as is always the case. I can’t go into detail as it would spoil this for someone else.

I would still recommend this book for the dark lovers out there as we all love different things, I guess this book will be someones book of year. Unfortunately it just isn’t mine.

Reviews

I absolutely loved this book. It contained just enough of everything to make it really enjoyable and kept me wanting more. I read this book in an evening, I just couldn’t put it down. I love the way that you get told just enough to let your imagination do the rest of the work for you, sometimes as in this case, less is more.

At the end of Sapphire, you are left wondering what happens to Grace. You know that they have come for the jewels and that Diamond is too important to let go. And this is where the story really begins. Grace is captured and the whole story explodes from there. I refuse to give anything away at all. The story is well told and leaves you wanting more and more. The characters in this book are brilliant and they chemistry they flies from the pages is just magic. This book is full of danger, sexual chemistry and a romance you won’t believe.

This book is a huge recommendation from me. The writing is just getting better and better with every book that is released. And JA Low is fast becoming a definitely one-click author for me.

Buy the book to find out, you won’t regret it.

The characters are amazing, the story is captivating! I can tell you I have a massive book crush on Max!!!!

I visit Jennifer every evening at the diner; she seems to like the attention, and I could use the distraction. I make sure to turn up just before her shift ends, and she gives me a ride home every night. The first night she came over we ended up talking for hours. My mouth hurt by the end, every sense on high alert. I was a gentleman. I didn’t lay a hand on her again, not after she started to talk. She’s in trouble. A lot of trouble. I think it eased her mind to be able to confess to somebody who pretty much wrote the book on trouble in this town.
I mean, there’s not a thing I can do to help the girl. Not unless she tells me who got her into this mess in the first place. “That’s the problem with men,” she said to me when I urged her to give me the name of the guy blackmailing her. “They always jump straight to problem-solving. Men always want to fix everybody.”
“You don’t want to be fixed?” I’d asked her.
“I can fix myself,” she’d replied. “I just need somebody to understand.”
I don’t understand. Her predicament is something I’ve never experienced. But I can listen. I listen to her talk as she drives me home in her shiny new car every night, and it makes me feel less of a fuck-up. I mean, she hasn’t killed anyone. But she’s planning to. And that’s why we’ve found each other. I am a killer and she is ready to spill blood. She is a welcome distraction from my sins, and I am a makeshift altar for her to lay her own sins upon. Because when I’m with Jennifer, I don’t think about Cassie Carlino. I don’t think of Karen Brainard. And, most especially, I don’t think of Teresa King and the way she burned beside me in that car.
* * *
The night Jennifer Thomas disappears is like all the rest. I go to the diner. Order nachos and a Coke. I’m surprised Jennifer is working. It’s Thanksgiving, and the place is deserted. Even Amanda is nowhere to be seen.
“Working on Thanksgiving?” I ask Jennifer, as she slides my food in front of me. She shrugs, that glitter lipgloss catching the light as she moves. “It’s just another day, isn’t it?”
I nod.
“Besides,” she says, “It pisses my dad off. I asked for this shift.”
At ten, I help her to turn out all the lights. I wait beside her as she locks the front doors of the diner, feeling vaguely worried about the fact that somebody left a sixteen year old cheerleader alone to lock up this late at night. I note the lack of video surveillance, the remote location, the fact that everyone is tucked safely inside their houses while Jennifer is alone with a convicted criminal in the dead of night.
Jennifer offers me a ride home, which I accept. Except, instead of driving me straight home like she has done for the past six nights in a row, Jennifer pulls her Range Rover off the road into an uncleared section of pine trees that tower over us. The track is narrow and winding and she doesn’t answer me when I ask her where she’s taking us.
She stops in a small clearing and cuts the lights. The engine is still running. Bits of snow fall outside, slow and bloated in their trajectory toward the ground. Jennifer’s hands are small as they grip the steering wheel; her eyes lit up by the red illumination of the dashboard, making her look almost demonic.
“What are we doing here?” I ask her again.
“I don’t want to go home,” she says staring straight ahead.
“Fair enough,” I reply. I watch her as she struggles to find words. She squirms in her heated leather seat, her nails shiny and perfect, her shoulders sagging under the weight of something I cannot see.
“Do you think I’m pretty?” she asks me in a tiny voice, and she sounds so mouse-like and weak that I almost laugh.
“Do I think you’re pretty?” I echo, feeling a smirk cut its way across my face. “Jennifer, you’re so pretty I could die just from looking at you.”
She rolls her eyes. “You think I’m stupid. You’re just here because you feel sorry for me, Leo.”
I shake my head. “I don’t think you’re stupid. And I’m not here because I feel sorry for you.”
She swallows thickly; I can see the pulse beat nervously in her throat. “Then why are you here?”
“Well, I guess I’m here right now because you just drove us off the road and into the woods.”
“You know what I mean.”
Do, I, though? I sigh. “Because you’re the only person in this town worth talking to who will even look at me.”
She bites her lip and I have the sudden, piercing urge inside my skull to wrap my hands around her throat and drag her onto my lap. That’s some messed up shit. She’s sixteen. Six. TEEN. I’m repeating the number in my head over and over, willing my dick to settle down. I can feel the throb of wanting her in my cock, in the thunderous rush of blood that makes my heart hit my ribcage like the firing of a gun, bang, bang, bang. My need eclipses my rationality. So what if she’s sixteen? She drove into this fucking clearing and licked her lips and asked me if I thought she was pretty.
“Why have you been back to the diner every single night, just as I’m about to get off shift?”
“Umm,” I try. “It’s the only decent place in town?”
She narrows her eyes at me and there’s a fire inside her pupils; it might be below freezing outside, but it’s a billion degrees in here. We’re already fogging up the windows with our breath, and I haven’t even laid a finger on her.
“Liar,” she says. “I want the real reason.”
You’re about to get the real reason, sweetheart. I grip the armrest. I grip it so hard my fingernails ache.
“I’m here because I’m a bad guy, Jennifer.”
“And?”
“Because you’re so pretty I can’t think about anybody else. Because I want to do things to you… that would probably frighten you. Things that might hurt you.”
Her cheeks are flush; her breathing quickens. I haven’t even touched her, and she’s already excited. Or scared. Or both. I want to reach between her thighs and see if it’s lust I’m reading on her face.
“What kinds of things?” she asks.
I cover my face with my hands.
“What kinds of things?” she repeats, a hand on my shoulder. I let my hands fall into my lap and fix my stare on this girl who should be home with her family, not out here in the dark in the woods and snow with a criminal. I watch in awe as she slides her seat back and reaches her hands up underneath her skirt, tugging a pair of panties down her legs and unhooking them from her heels. She can’t look at me as she hands me a pair of baby blue silk panties with a bow on the front. I grip the underwear in my fist so tight I could tear it to shreds with a single pull, but I don’t rip it. I find the damp spot of arousal in the center of the material and bring it up to my face. I close my eyes. I breathe Jennifer in.
I shouldn’t be here. Not with her. Not like this. I will get out of the car, I decide. I will walk home. I will not touch this girl.
But then, “I promise I won’t tell anyone,” she whispers.
Fuck.
I grab her. I drown her shock out with my mouth. I squeeze her slender neck with my prison-rough palms. I keep my promise and I hurt Jennifer Thomas until I’m sated.
It’s only after when I’m looking at the blank expression on her face, the odd tilt of her neck, the bruises blossoming on her spread thighs, that I understand what I have done.
By then, it’s too late.
The night Jennifer Thomas disappears is like all the rest.
Apart from the way it ends.

Dark, dangerous and raw… absolutely fantastic book! Watch out for what you wish for… as that monster may just come to life and then you’re running for your life! This was totally different from anything else I have read, I was totally captivated and intrigued from the start and was not disappointed at all. The characters were so dark and twisted.. each of them had their demons to fight, but the more time they spent with each other the light started coming into their lives… but there was still a monster lurking and both of them were the bait.

But to me? He’s just Butcher. I see him. I see who he really is. I see a man who will do anything for the people he cares about. I see the man who will protect and love me above everything else.

Well I can honestly say I really enjoyed this fabulous book! I have read one of this author’s books before but know for certain I will be going back to read them all!

Shay is an MC club princess who has grown up surrounded by males, she knows how to defend herself which is a very good thing. Butcher is the enforcer of a different club and is one massive, scary looking man. Once he sets his sights on Shay nothing sways him from claiming her.

This story has a bit of everything- action and excitement, humour, compassion and understanding, anger and some aggression which is mainly justified I feel.

Shay is one crazy, tough yet sweet twenty-five year old. Her antics really make this story so good. Butcher is scarred from injuries he sustained deriving as a SEAL in the navy and is an extremely tall, well-built man. His softer, gentle side is exposed through his relationship with Shay.

There are quite a few twists and turns in the storyline to make it interesting and they get your heart racing.

Above all, this is a sweet romance, different but sweet.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable not quite conventional MC book. I absolutely devoured it in just a few hours. This book was a refreshing change and I loved that there was no trouble with club whores or nasty ex’s out for vengeance. But none of this detracts from the story.

The characters were amazing and the instant chemistry/ love was kind of refreshing, to be honest. Shay and Butcher were just heaven send and it was fantastic to read. This well-written story was just great and I really recommend this to everyone that loves a great HEA.

Loved it, another great MC read… My first from LeAnn and it certainly won’t be the last! Butcher and Shay’s story was action-packed and full of passion, possessiveness and family. Butcher was a strong, dominant, kind hearted man who vowed to protect Shay with his life from the very first smile she threw his way! Shay was an MC princess her father was President, she grew up surrounded by men who were possessive and very protective… she was feisty as hell and a kick arse heroine who fiercely defended anyone who threatened her or the ones she loved. I’m seriously loving her take on the MC lifestyle and can’t wait to see what else this series is going to bring!

Wow this book was everything I hoped it would be after reading the blurb! I wasn’t at all disadvantaged not having read the rest of the series maybe knowing more of their background would have been helpful but it didn’t take anything away from this amazing book! Ghost was just that.. ‘a ghost’ living in the shadows watching his past get on with their lives, until one day when another man appeared in his wife’s kitchen… this sparked a turn of events that would change all their lives. I can’t speak highly enough of this story it was dark, dangerous and full of thrills. I am definitely a fan of The Dixie Warden Rejects, I must now go back and devour the rest of the series!

Wow! This is one sensational story by this fabulous author who never disappoints her readers.

Told from multiple points of view, which is important, this complex story unfolds sharing reactions, feelings, and thoughts that give clarity. The characters are all deep and easy to relate to but the lead characters you can help but feel like they’ve touched your heart.

Tunnel was the husband of Mina and father of Sienna, now after six long years where he was thought to be dead Ghost, as he is called now, comes back into their lives.

I have to comment about Tunnel and Audrey’s parents…they are the lowest of the low and Lani Lynn Vale sure knows how to describe evil clearly. Just the thought of them makes me shudder!

At times the plot is very dark and action packed making your heart race while at others the humour leaves you chuckling, a wonderful balance. The love story behind this romantic suspense is uplifting and I can only recommend everyone read this to see for themselves.

5 Star Amazon Review – “Perfection! The definition of true love and sacrifice! ALL THE STARS!!!!”

5 Star Amazon Review – “My best book of 2017”

5 Star Amazon Review – “** Sweet Jesus– Couldn’t put it down ** Absolutely LOVED IT!!!”

Ghost [gohst] noun: the soul of a dead person, a disembodied, vague, shadowy spirit wandering among or haunting living persons; a mere shadow or semblance; a trace. That noun sums up Ghost and what his life has become with painful precision. He is barely living, merely existing but never thriving. There wasn’t much that could pull him from the darkness he willingly inhabits…except one thing. Her.

She is the reason he’s done what he’s done, and his life has become what it has become.

He haunts his former life, lurking in the background, surviving on occasional glimpses of the only thing good that is left in his miserable life. The horror he has inflicted upon her is nothing compared to the terror that waits for her when someone moves in to take her from him.

The thing about being stuck in the past is that it is like walking through life backwards. She is always looking back, so she doesn’t see what is happening in front of her. Unfortunately for her, it turns out that the ghosts of the past aren’t nearly as terrifying as the monsters of the future.

They say that true love is like a ghost, something that many talk about but few have seen. It’s a good thing for that, too, because he’ll need that element of surprise to protect her. Hopefully when the dust settles, he’ll be able to resurrect more than just himself.

Our Reviews of Lucky by Lilly Atlas

by Lilly Atlas
Genres: MC Romance
Title: Lucky
Series: No Prisoners MC Romance
Author: Lilly Atlas
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: July 31, 2017

After six painful months caring for her terminally ill mother, Kori learns the identity of her father. Desperate to connect with the only family she has left, Kori sets out to meet the man responsible for half of her DNA. There’s just one problem: he’s the President of the No Prisoners MC, Las Vegas chapter.

Raised as the step-daughter of an MC member, Kori has one rule when it comes to dating: no bikers. But following that rule becomes a real challenge when she meets Lucky, a member of her father’s club. He’s handsome, he’s sexy, and he makes her feel special.

Lucky has his own rule for dating: don’t do it. With a revolving door to his bedroom, he has no interest in a relationship. But what begins as harmless flirting with his Pres’s daughter heats up, until he can’t get Kori out of his mind. She’s enough to make him give up being single.
But Lucky is holding onto a dark secret. He’s learned the Pres and VP are involved in activities that could bring down their chapter. He was nearly ready to act when Kori arrived. Now he must decide: move swiftly against his club’s leaders, or wait to give his relationship more time to develop? Either way, can he save her from getting caught in the crossfire?

This MC story a bit different in as far as their clubs had a policy of not getting into the drug business. I enjoyed the change up immensely. Lilly Atlas always delivers quality stories and this is no exception.

Kori nurses her dying mother until the end but discovers that her biological father is in an MC in Vegas. Moving from Florida she sets out to meet him however is dead set against forming any relationships with any bikers. Her mother had been married to one and Kori despised his cheating ways.

Lucky is a patched member of the No Prisoners MC where Kori’s father is the president. Things are not going as smoothly as Lucky would like them to go.

The character descriptions are very clear and make it easy to visualise them and the scenes. The chemistry is flaming hot and yet romance is still an almost tangible thing.

This book is packed with action-including some violence, tenderness, raw passion, angst and some fun moments where you do end up chuckling. It is fast paced and very easy to read.

I look forward to the next book in this series.

4.5 stars for me this was a great read… It was my first from Lilly and I was very impressed. I also wasn’t disadvantaged by not reading the first books in the series, I didn’t miss anything. The story flowed, it was gritty, action packed with several panty melting scenes that kept me wanting more! Lucky was a sexy, strong alpha male who doesn’t do relationships… he has a revolving door policy with women, that is until Kori walks into his MC and knocks him on his ass! She is feisty as all hell and ‘doesn’t do bikers’ she resists all his advances and gives back as good as she gets… one dinner, ‘not a date’ is all it takes to weaken her resolve and the two fall head long into a fast, hot and steamy relationship that leaves them both reeling… But evil lurks close to home and when their relationship and Lucky’s life is threatened Kori does the one thing she can think of to save her biker but in the process, she splinters his heart in two. Can love win out or will the evil that is entwined in the MC bring everyone to their knees! I NEED more!!

Las Vegas, November 2015

Three-fifty-seven a.m. Pretty fucking early. Why the hell he was awake, he had no clue. Maybe his female companion had inadvertently woken him when she crawled her sweet ass out of the bed and slunk into the night.

Lucky’s head was a bit groggy, but the intoxication seemed to have worked its way out of his system. A quick cup of the sludge his MC brothers called coffee and he’d be good to ride home where he could actually get some comfortable sleep. This damn bed was like sleeping on a pile of rocks, and sharp nails.

Now where the hell had his cut landed?

He found it dangling from the foot of the bed. Once dressed, he made his way down the dark hallway toward the main area of the clubhouse. The building was a seven thousand square foot single story old shoe factory that had been converted for their needs years ago. The front of the building served as the heart of the clubhouse. The space was wide open, with a massive bar, pool table, dart boards, and a number of plush, albeit questionably sanitary, couches. That’s where they partied, hung out, and generally caused a ruckus.

A long hallway led to the back of the building where offices and spare rooms were located as well as the giant meeting room, or chapel, where the club conducted its business. Lucky loved his second home, even if sleeping there was a less than restful experience.

He trod as quietly as his booted feet would allow so as not to wake anyone else who’d spent the night. As he neared the bar, loud, angry voices broke the silence of the early morning.

“How did this happen? Tell me how the fuck this happened!” Rebel’s smoke-roughened yell made Lucky wince. Their Vegas chapter president was not someone to piss off. Those who got on his bad side often found themselves missing a tooth or two. Just last year when their club brothers from Crystal Rock, Arizona were in town, Rebel had rearranged some punk’s face for having the nerve to step on his foot and not apologize in a crowded bar.

“I don’t know, Pres. Casper called me just five minutes ago. First thing I did was come to you.” Savage sounded just as agitated as Rebel. Another man you didn’t want to put a target on your ass. Like Lucky, he lived up to his nickname with gusto.

Lucky halted, unsure if he’d be welcome at this moment. If it seemed like they could use his help, he’d be more than happy to jump in, but something felt off about the situation. The small hairs on the back of his neck rose to attention. An issue requiring attention at four a.m. on a Saturday could only mean trouble.

Casper. Why did that name sound so familiar?

“Tell me exactly what Casper said. Word for fuckin’ word. And give me a fuckin’ cigarette. I left mine in my room.”

Silence descended and Lucky pictured Rebel lighting up and sucking in that first soothing drag. In eight years, there had perhaps been three times he’d seen Rebel without a cigarette between his fingers and smoke billowing from his mouth. His leathery face and raspy voice bore the marks of a man who loved his smokes.

“Spit it the fuck out, Savage.” Rebel sounded close to losing his cool. Surprising for a man who ruthlessly commanded respect and never seemed at a loss. Shit must be bad.

“Casper said they’re having ongoing issues with their supply from the cartel. Trust has been a problem since the Crystal Rock chapter ambushed them. Stealing the mil meant for the cartel pissed the Grimm Brothers off, big time. They liked working with Snake but hate Casper’s guts.”

Lucky remembered now. Grimm Brothers MC. Casper was the VP and Snake had been the president for a while. Nasty motherfuckers who caused serious trouble for two of his brothers, Striker and Jester. Snake kidnapped Striker’s woman and blackmailed Jester’s ol’ lady with threats of killing her only brother. The Grimm Brothers were the sworn enemy of the No Prisoners Crystal Rock chapter.

“Shit.” Rebel’s curse was followed by a loud boom that had Lucky jolting. He tiptoed a few steps further into the hallway. He should leave. Spying on the President wasn’t a smart idea, but now he itched to know the rest of the story.

“Did they get this month’s shipment? Thirty percent of that product had our name on it,” Rebel asked.

Wait. What? Lucky’s blood ran cold. His club steered far away from the drug trade.

“Most of it. The cartel held some of it back as punishment for Casper’s bad attitude.” Savage paused and without actually looking at him, Lucky could imagine his cold eyes turn deadly. “Said they have no problem finding new buyers so Casper needs to get his ass in line.”

Rebel let out a harsh laugh followed by a barking cough. “That scrawny asshole knows how much I depend on the cash from our heroin sales. He better get his shit together or the cartel will be the least of his worries.”

Lucky swore his heart stopped beating for a few seconds, just before it kicked up into a fast gallop. Rebel and Savage were selling drugs. Who else knew? Who else was involved? How long had this been going on?

Nausea rolled through his gut like a violent storm. His sister had died of an overdose when she was just seventeen. One of the reasons he’d chosen this specific MC when looking to prospect was the fact that they were fierce in their stance against involvement in the drug trade. Too risky and too much collateral damage. Or so he’d believed.

“Maybe we should consider cutting out the middle man. Deal with the cartel ourselves.” Rebel coughed. The man’s lungs had to be blacker than tar.

“Not a bad idea, Pres. Things ain’t the same since Jester beat Snake near to death. You think Casper finished the job? You know that greedy asshole was just biding his time until he could claw his way to the top and no one’s heard from Snake in the months since.”

“I need a drink. What a fuckin’ mess.” Rebel sighed, then the sound of liquid being poured reached Lucky’s ears.

Well, now he sure as hell couldn’t step out into the bar area. With the stealth of a ninja, Lucky crept back toward the room he’d crashed in. This was far too much information to process at four in the morning after a night of heavy drinking. His thoughts bubbled and swirled like molten lava in a volcano near eruption.

Now he got to choose between two shitty options.

Turn a blind eye and keep his trap closed.

Or run with what he overheard to someone who could help. Take it to the Crystal Rock chapter. Tell them his president and vice president were in direct violation of the club’s strict no drugs bylaw. Be a rat.

And in the MC world, there was nothing dirtier than a rat.

Wow another stunner of a book by JA! Completely captivated from the start, this was a dark, sexy suspense filled read… Two men, one woman and a love that is all consuming.. they needed each other as much as they needed to breathe! OMG the chemistry was explosive and the sex scenes so hot I required many a cold shower after and while reading this book! I can’t recommend this book enough and I’ll be waiting with bated breath for the next installment especially after that fantastic cliff hanger ending…

Wow! What a great book. I really don’t know what to say about this hot, dark and heartbreakingly twisted book. The story was different to what I have read before. I can honestly say that I love this authors style of writing, the way she tells a story is just really a breath of fresh air. This was probably her best book to date.

Without going too much into the story or the other characters as I feel it will ruin so much, that needs to be discovered by the reader. I will say be prepared to get hot, bothered and to cry your eyes out. Matteo, Tomas, and Zoe are just Wow and I will leave it at that. This book has so much to it. I read it in 4hrs as I didn’t want to put it down.  It is a complete page turner, with shocks and surprises aplenty.

This book is a huge recommend for me and one that will probably stay with me for a while. The next book can’t come fast enough. I need more of this crazy world that I am sure will surprise me at every turn of the page.
