I’m not a good man, and I’ve never pretended to be. I don’t believe in goodness or God or any happy ending that isn’t paid for in advance.

What do I believe in? Money. Sex. Macallan 18.

They have words for men like me—playboy. Womanizer. Skirt chaser.

My brother used to be a priest, and he only has one word for me.

***Sinner is a standalone companion to Priest about Father Bell’s brother Sean. You do not have to read Priest or Midnight Mass to read Sinner.***

Another sizzling instalment featuring one of the Bell brothers… Sean Bell is a millionaire playboy who has a body made for sin and a reputation to match. Zenny is the younger sister of Sean’s childhood friend who has grown into a woman that Sean cannot resist.. the chemistry between them is explosive and Sierra takes you on a ride that is intense and insanely HOT… a ride you won’t want to get off!!

Reviewed by Nat

“Zenny,” I mumble against her lips, some valiant part of me recognizing that this is far, far beyond the kiss she asked for, and also recognizing that I’m going to come all over the inside of my Hugo Boss suit pants if she keeps it up. Even through the clothes, I can feel her heat, her shameless rolls hinting at where she goes soft and wet between her legs.

Fuck, I want to see it. I want to see her pussy. It’s suddenly all I can think about, all I can want or crave, just one glimpse, just a peek.

“I want to see your cunt,” I say hoarsely, lifting my head.

“My…cunt?” She says the word like she’s never said it out loud before.

“Yeah.” My voice is so ragged right now, so desperate, and fuck, I’ve never felt this frantic before. Like I’ll actually combust if I don’t get this one thing, this one small sight of her secret place.

She lets out a shaky breath, her hand dropping from my lapel to her skirt, which she slowly rucks up to her waist as I devour her lips once more, as I bury my face in her neck and kiss every sliver of skin exposed above her collar. I bite at her ear, at her jaw, my hand finding hers as it pulls her skirt up, so that I’m helping her do it, that we’re doing it together, this forbidden act, this forbidden revelation.

Her forbidden body.

That word, forbidden, spikes through my mind, bringing with it equal spikes of lust and fear. Because yes, it’s fucking hot that I shouldn’t be kissing her, I shouldn’t be begging to see her most secret place, my hand shouldn’t be covering hers as it slides up her thigh—but it’s also bad. Bad even for Sean Bell.

Bad, bad, bad.

Donna’s Review of Switch Hitter by Sara Ney

by Sara Ney
Genres: Contemporary Romance

I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn’t put my finger on what it was.

Same hair color.

Same legs.

Same face.

Except…I look harder.

At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn’t there the last time we went out. And her laugh—that laugh isn’t as loud.

This isn’t the girl I’ve gone out with the past few weeks.

It’s her twin sister, and they’ve switched places on me.

Only I’m not quite ready to let them switch back.

I really liked this short, cute and fun read, this is just what you need, when only a quick sexy read will do.  Playing a game of deception doesn’t always work out but in this case, it certainly does. And the switch is perfect and I am so glad that Dante and Amelia get a chance.

This novella is a brilliantly entertaining read and I only wish that I could have had more of this cute couple, a good solid recommendation from me.

I’m to be feared.

When your family is as much a friend as an enemy, there is no one to trust.

I am Javier Almanza.

Cartel kingpin.

No one can touch me.

No one can hurt me.

Except her.

Mari Belle Dominguez.

My first experience with a book by this author is this first book in the Almanza Crime Family Duet. We are warned at the beginning that this is a dark read and not a sweet romance, which is very true!

Javier Almanza, cartel boss, has always been infatuated, or obsessed, with Mari Belle Dominguez, who is confident she will move on and be free of her life in Mexico. After Mari’s brother, Maricio, forces her to leave Mexico she is anything but free!

The story is told in two parts, the past and the present and by both lead characters sharing insight into why they do things and how they feel. Vivid descriptions give us clear images as the story unfolds. Her description of each character is just as clear. Maricio, with such a lovely name you’d think ‘good guy’ but life throws some curve balls.

Although the genre might be dark romance, it is still a romance with flaming hot passion too. It is also a fast paced, easy read making you want the second book now! (which I do!😉)

Some men are born with a black heart and a tainted soul.

I tried to leave. To do the right thing and walk away from my past.
But then she came back into my life.
Stumbling towards me and looking up at me as if I’m the one she’s been looking
for all this time.
As if I could be her savior and take her pain away.

If only she knew.

Selfish, ruthless, possessive.

Donna’s 5 Star Review of Hero by Lauren Rowe

by Lauren Rowe

Hero, an all-new sexy and emotional standalone romance by Lauren Rowe is Available NOW!

A standalone contemporary romance in the MORGAN BROTHERS SERIES from USA Today Bestselling Author Lauren Rowe. The story of firefighter Colby Morgan that proves heroes come in many forms . .

The first time I laid eyes on Lydia Decker, I couldn’t speak. Or breathe. Or string two coherent thoughts together.

And I don’t mean any of that figuratively.

I’m not talking about a guy being floored by the sight of a gorgeous woman—although, of course, Lydia is gorgeous beyond words.

No, when I first laid eyes on Lydia Decker—my physical therapist—I was lying flat on my back in the ICU, high as a kite on painkillers, breathing on a ventilator, my bones as broken and splintered as my spirit.

When I first laid eyes on Lydia Decker, she was a ray of light in the dark. Hope for the hopeless. A salve for my singed and battered soul.

She said she’d been assigned to fix me. That she was there to bring me back to life. She said helping me was her calling.

And then she touched me. Physically, emotionally, spiritually. She healed me.

And I fell in love.

But what I didn’t know . . . what I couldn’t possibly know . . . was that Lydia Decker needed fixing far more than I ever did.

Omg!!! Colby Morgan wins. He is straight up a hero of the finest order and I can not express enough just how wonderful and swoon-worthy, the oldest Morgan brother is. He is quiet to a fault but you can tell he is a protector, a watcher and my god a lover of all. He has a heart of gold and a will that makes him never give in. His motto ” Here Today, Gone Tomorrow” is truly fitting of this selfless man.

This book provoked so many emotions in me and although I found myself teary-eyed, I also laughed hard during this book. The same humour ran through this book as the others and it wasn’t out of place either considering the topic. All the characters make this book magical, Colby and Lydia are playing with each other’s hearts throughout this book and the will they won’t they aspect is brilliant. All the Morgan’s appear in this book but it’s not a Morgan but Lydia’s children that steal the show for me. They are just blindingly honest and as the saying goes “Out of the mouths of babes” and this book just spells that out.

This book is about love, loss, lost hope and a thing that many don’t believe in, love at first sight. Its also about starting over and rebuilding a life left in ruins. Lauren Rowe knocked it out of the park with this book and its a huge recommend from me. I really can’t believe just how good this book is.

Donna’s 5 Star Review of Two Wedding Crashers by Meghan Quinn

I don’t know what love is anymore.

Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m going to tell you a little secret: I’ve lost the spark.

You know the kind of spark I’m talking about?

Where butterflies take flight in your stomach from two hands innocently colliding. Or catching your breath when you first meet someone attractive. Yeah, that spark.

Except I haven’t felt that feeling in forever; there is nothing left inside of me.

Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem–but I’m a writer on a serious deadline, and my editor is breathing down my neck for a romantic, Nicholas Sparks type love story. No pressure, right?

That’s how I find myself flying across the country to crash a wedding in the name of research, dress and heels stuffed into my small suitcase.

It should be the easiest book research ever. Drinking some free champagne, basking in the love of two strangers, and tapping into my romantic side. That will be a breeze. I’m a pro. I can handle this.

Until I mistakenly end up in the wrong hotel room, naked as the day I was born, with the sexiest human I have ever met staring me down, wondering what I’m doing taking a shower in his bathroom. I don’t think calling it research will get me out of this pickle.

This book is amazing, I laughed hard reading it, tears and stitches were the order of the day. And although I laughed so much, it wasn’t a full-on laughfest. This book contained dark elements and secrets. God were there secrets. Not even tiny secrets, huge life-altering ones. But the story spins its web into revealing those heartbreakers so cleverly.

The Characters are brilliant and all of them bring something to the table. We first met Beck in Three First Dates and to say he was my favourite in that book wouldn’t be a lie and I am so glad that he gets to tell his own story. This story is well thought out and captivates you from the off and not just any women would do to stand next to Beck. Nope, and Rylee is far from ordinary, she is awkward, sassy and doesn’t engage her brain before she speaks which leads to numerous laugh out loud moments.

The cat and mouse story that runs this whole book are both funny and a little upsetting as you can just tell there are reasons for the holding someone at arm’s length. But nothing prepared me for what I got. This book played with my emotions but i enjoyed every single second of it. This story for me is about taking chances and never giving up on something you want.

This book and series are a huge recommend from me. I just can’t believe how much I enjoyed this bumpy ride.

Chills scream their way down my arms and legs, my nipples pucker, and just like that, with one word, all humor vanishes from our little conversation and awareness of this all-consuming man wrapped around me hits me hard.

Gathering myself, I say, “Tell me something Chris and Justine know about you.”

“Hmm.” His thumbs hook under the waistband of my shorts, playing with the lower part of my hipbones. His touch spurs on my pelvis, needing to rock, begging for him to go lower. My toes curl in my sandals and my back slightly arches, reaching for more. “Something they know about me.”

His mouth doesn’t stray from its position against my ear, and his hips start to slowly move underneath me, his legs tangling with mine. Involuntarily, one of my hands hooks the back of his neck as I hold on tightly to him, feeling like I need support from the onslaught of sensation I’m feeling.

I hear him say something, but it doesn’t register in my brain, which has turned to mush as his thumbs stray from my hipbones to right above my pubic bone.

There is no denying how turned on I am, how wet I am from his mere touch, how much—despite my reservations—I want this man.

With each stroke, my head turns farther and farther to the side until our noses are touching, Beck’s head bends forward to meet me halfway. My eyes flutter shut for a brief moment before I open them and am captured by those flecks of green and gold.

The air stills around us, our breath mixing, swirling between us, our lips so close.

One swipe of this thumb.

Another one.

I can’t breathe.

I can’t focus.

Another swipe, my head leans even closer, my tongue wetting my lips.

One more swipe . . .

My heart hammers in my chest, my skin prickling with awareness.

Beck brings his mouth even closer, only a whisper away now, and he waits.

Holding still.

His breathing feeling erratic beneath me.

And I’m gone.

I bring my mouth to his, slowly parting my lips ever so slightly, just enough to maneuver my mouth across his.

A low, provocative moan escapes Beck as one of his hands snags the back of my head and holds me in place, almost as if he lets go, I’ll disappear.

Needing more, I shift on his lap so I’m straddling him once again, my hands on his bare chest, feeling the powerful sinew that holds him together.

Our lips press and mold, mingling, taking, begging . . .

Beck’s tongue runs against my bottom lip, eliciting a moan from deep within me, lighting a fire so hot, so wild, my hands start to travel up his neck to his cheeks where I grip him, positioning his head so when I open my mouth, I can expertly dive my tongue onto his.

He groans, his lap shifting against mine now, his hard-on pressing against my wet and throbbing center. I match his rocking, using my position on his lap to take advantage of his length I can feel through his board shorts.

This is exactly what I didn’t want to happen, but God, am I happy it has. Maybe I really should live in the moment, maybe I should take advantage of the opportunity, maybe I should…

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

LeAnn’s books just keep getting better and the characters more swoon-worthy if that’s even possible! Wilder as VP of the Grim Sinners MC is very loyal to his club and is ruthless in his pursuit to protect everyone who is associated with them. He is a dominant, sweet and very loving alpha male who goes out of his way to care for and guard what is his, and Jocelyn is what he has wanted since he first laid eyes on her. Jocelyn is a kind natured, shy young lady who finally after months of him asking agrees to go on a date with Wilder… although right before their date she is forced on the run again when her horrible excuse for a family turn up and threaten her happiness and her life! Three months later tired of running she is rescued and returned to the one place she felt safe, in the arms of and under the protection of the Grim Sinners and more importantly Wilder. This is a roller coaster ride you’ll want to make sure you’re buckled up for, it has so many twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.

In true style LeAnn Ashers launches this story with drama and some action, immediately grabbing the reader’s attention.

Joslyn is an extremely quiet young woman who has basically been bullied by her family, all her life. After running from them repeatedly she realises she needs some help so calls her old boss who sends the Grimm Sinners MC vice-president to locate her then take her back to Texas.

Joslyn is an extremely scared and timid person until she gets angry then she can sass back with the best of them! She physically hides behind her hair and truly believes she isn’t very pretty, thus the shyness. Joslyn is a character that is very easy to like and you feel you could hug her and try to take her away from the darker side of her life.

This fast-paced, easy to read story is told from both main characters points of view, helping readers to understand them better. I love it when the author adds some twists and turns along the way, changing things up and making room for more possibilities in the storyline.

Mix some romance and passion with intrigue and mayhem and you have a great story I recommend to everyone.

Genres: Contemporary Romance

Title: Menace
A Moonshine Task Force Series Novel
Author: Laramie Briscoe
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 9, 2018

Mason “Menace”
“Single and ready to mingle……”

Those are the words above every picture of almost every female that strikes my
interest on this dating app my son talked me into getting. After being a single
dad for seventeen years, I’m ready to spread my wings, just not with most of
the co-eds who keep hitting on me and calling me daddy.

Now that Caleb’s in his Senior year of high school, I feel like I can let go of
the iron-clad control I’ve had on myself without his Mom in our lives. I’ve
enjoyed raising him, love the relationship we have, and while he went off the
rails for a bit last year, we’re closer than we’ve ever been. He’s got a full
ride to the University of Alabama, and I’ve settled into my spot with the
Moonshine Task Force.

But my son doesn’t warm my bed, he isn’t someone I can share my dreams with,
and he’s not the person I want to grow old with by my side. I’m not sure who
that is yet, but the smokin’ hot lady going by the name BeachBum83 definitely
has every single bit of my interest.

Karina Holland

“Looking for a good time, maybe more…..”

Those were the lamest words I ever typed in my life, but it was the best I had
for the dating app my friend, Violet talked me into joining. I didn’t have any
high hopes for myself. As a High School English teacher, I’m sick of pervy
Dad’s hitting on me when they come in to discuss their child’s lack of
motivation to read the classics and apply themselves.

Until the day Mason Harrison walks into my classroom. I had no idea Caleb’s Dad
was the man I met off that dating app who showed me how flexible I really am in
the back of his Jeep. Within minutes of the parent/teacher conference he proved
the sparks weren’t one-time only when we christened my desk.

Mason and Caleb? They touch a part of my heart that no one’s ever touched
before, and when a threat from the past shows up, I prove just how tough I
really am.

The fifth book in this series thankfully is here, I enjoy this Moonshine Task Force series immensely and have been eagerly awaiting the story of this single dad.

Mason, or Menace as he’s known on the task force, was an extremely young father, sixteen, however, he fought to save his son and bring him up himself. This he has done and now that Caleb, his son, is eighteen and nearly ready to leave high school to start his college education, he finds himself ready to tackle dating again. Karina and Mason meet after both liking each other on a dating app. The chemistry is there in bucketloads.

This is a fast-paced, easy to read book that is extremely entertaining and easy in which to lose yourself. The characters are very real and easy to like. Katrina sounds like a great teacher who enjoys her students. Mason is a dedicated police officer and father. Told from both lead characters points of view, we garner a deeper insight into what makes them tick, why they do things and how they feel.

The passionate, raw intimacy is sizzling hot between Mason and Karina. They literally burn up the pages! More importantly, it is a sweet romance that makes you feel terrific. Throw in some suspense and tie it up with some drama and that gives you a great story!

You know the story.
Boy meets girl, they fall in love, two kids, white picket fence.
This isn’t that story.

This is more like . . .
Man meets woman. Man sleeps with woman.
Man meets another woman, sleeps with her.
And so on. You get the idea.

I own a small boutique hotel in New Orleans, the Kingston. I’ve seen men do some stupid stuff in the name of the woman they love, or at least the woman they love for the night.

That’s not me. I’m always in control. You’d be surprised how much you can get away with on just good manners and a smile. It’s the only way to keep my secrets safely locked away.

And my smile hides a lot. Until her.

She turns me down flat. Playing hard to get is my favorite game. It’s the thrill of the chase.

Only problem is, I think it’s me that’s getting caught.

Wow!! I was blown away by this book, its not a full in your face, hard hitting story but it had a huge punch that sat in my gut and throat all the way through. Although this is a story of love and a lifetime friendship. Its also a tale of secrets, nightmares and regrets. This book sucked me in and ruined me.

The characters are brilliant, complicated and full of hurt, old hurt and pain that shaped them as adults. Made them who they are. Made them live a lie and made them run from the past. Annie shone in this book and stole the show although, Sutton and Pierce where the main characters. But the story involves them and many others. Their story as a whole is heartbreaking.

This book isn’t all sunshine and flowers. Not everyone gets their HEA. But all ghosts are exposed and laid to rest. This book gave me the chills. Made me think, made me cry and made me believe that one moment changes everything. The one decision can change everything forever.

I really can’t recommend this book enough, its an easy read in the sense that the pages just fly by. But I guess that happens when a book is this good. Prescott Lane is a definite must read author. She tells a story like she has lived it.

Dr. Lorraine laughs and pulls out her prescription pad. Scribbling something, she turns it to me. The title reads: The sex diet.
I bust out laughing. “You’re writing me a sex prescription.”
“Sort of,” she says. “You ever gone on a diet before?”
“The thing with diets is, you usually start off strict.”
How did I know that?”
“No touching by either party, not even kissing.”
“Wait, not even a hand job?” I ask.
“You’ve got your own hands. Use them.”
She writes jerking off on her script pad, then puts a checkmark beside it. This is the craziest shit.
“Once a day as needed,” she says, writing that down.
“I’ll never make it.”
“How many times do you want?” she asks.
“At least twice, morning and before bed.”
She shakes her head. “Okay, twice a day,” she says and points her pencil at me. “That’s it.”
“I really don’t think I need . . .”
“You won’t be released from therapy until I’m satisfied you’ve completed this,” she says.
She has me by the balls, and she knows it. I can’t believe I’m being forced to agree to this, but what choice do I have? “I haven’t had sex in a couple days. Can I get credit for that?”
“No,” she laughs out. “Start fresh today.”
“What about it?”
“Can I use it?” I ask.
“You don’t have enough memories to sustain you?” she asks.
“Good point.”
She gets to her feet and sticks out her hand. “Good luck.”
Shaking her hand and smiling, I’m sure I’ve got this.
I bite the inside of my mouth, realizing the old lady has tricked me. It’s Thursday. I’m not seeing her again until Tuesday.
That’s five days! Shit, what have I done?
