Title: Down Beat
Series: Dark Tide #1
Author: Max Henry
Genre: Contemporary/Rocker Romance
Release Date: May 18, 2018
Blurb
Some call him a rock god.
Others a celebrity bad boy.
Me? I call him the arrogant bastard who stole my concert venue.
His apology? To take me and my violin on tour with the band.
It’s an offer I can’t refuse, even if it does come with strings attached.
Because Rey Thomas isn’t who he seems.
Life isn’t pretty behind the deviant frontman’s facade.
It’s raw, ugly, and at times downright painful.
But it’s real.
And far better than the lie he presents to the world.
The man behind the face of Dark Tide is beautiful in his chaos.
All I have to do is keep him alive long enough to see that too.
Nobody ever said loving a rock star would be easy.

Reviews

I really don’t know where to begin with this review. I don’t know how to express the feeling that it provoked and just how to put it all down on paper. But I need for people to realise what a fantastic thought-provoking book this is. Some say we all have our demons and we do but some of us have a disease that we can never escape from. One that plays with us in the worst ways, these diseases are ones that have more access to us than any other. Especially when it’s your own mind that you can’t escape from.

This is one of the hardest books I have read, an example that with the world at your feet, you still feel like you are nothing, mental illness has no preference, it sees no creed, colour or status. Rey is perfect example that no one is untouchable. Rey and Tabitha’s story is just beautiful, even with all the demons that run through these pages and try to ruin it.

This is a rock star book with a difference and I think Max Henry handle every word and situation with kindness, compassion and incredible knowledge. I don’t want to spoil this book at all and explain what happens as it needs to experience first hand. But the saying is true. If you love someone enough let them go, if they come back they are yours forever and that is what else I will take from this book.

This book is a huge recommendation from me but it’s not for the faint of heart or mind. This book covers some serious and painful things so be warned. Max Henry you have done yourself and those of us that suffer proudly. And maybe more than a few rock star who couldn’t face another day too.

Seriously Max Henry! Seriously!!!!
I haven’t had the chance to read any adult fiction books in some time, being swamped down with boring university books or children’s fiction so to say this book blew my mind and gave my love of reading back would have to be the BIGGEST understatement EVER!!!It gave me all the feels and took me on an adventure of the heart and mind and really had me engrossed in their story. The depth of character is amazing and the storyline is exceptional.

A MUST READ for 2018!!!

Reviewed by Cherie

It’s always a delight starting a new book by this author, although we are warned about some triggers- and yes they are there- the whole subject of mental illness is handled brilliantly.

Dark Tide is an up and coming band made up of Rey, the lead singer, Toby on drums, Emery the bassist and Kris who is a sensational guitar player. After a mix up they meet the sassy and determined violinist, Tabitha. Things start to become very interesting and moving.

There is a darkness in this story, how could there not be with mental illness? A darkness that is showcased very smoothly as well as harshly, a clever move by Max Henry. A darkness that is necessary for readers to understand not only the main character better and try to get a handle on what his life is like but also how it affects those around him. It clearly gave a depth of understanding that I have never experienced before, thank you.

Down Beat isn’t all dark as there are lighter times, I enjoyed the banter between the characters, especially with Tabitha being smart-mouthed towards Rey and vice versa.

I am so excited to know that Kris’ story will be next in the series, he is such an intriguing character and I can’t wait to get to know him better.

Who doesn’t love a good rock star book! Well, this is a great rock star book and then some!! I was so blown away with the content and how Max dealt with a delicate and taboo subject in such a respectful way… she went no holes bared and showed mental illness in all it’s ugly glory! This story was a dark and beautiful love story about a man with demons and the lady who accepted him for who he was demons and all. Max has a real talent for thought-provoking stories… and this one was no different, you come away with a whole new level of understanding about how precious life really is!! Look out for your family and friends, ask questions and just be there xx

Excerpt
“You
started without us.” The dark-haired cocky bastard from before makes a show of
moving my road case so he can sit in the seat adjacent to mine.
The quiet
guy who offered to help me carry it heads for the counter, and is immediately assailed
by some desperate woman with a napkin.
“You’re
really something, huh?” I muse as I lift my coffee to take a sip.
“I like to
think so.” His gaze bores into mine despite the fact the horn bag with the
napkin is lining him up in her sights. “What kind of music do you play?”
“What do
you care?”
We enter
what appears to be a staring contest while he formulates his answer; piercing
eyes fix firmly on me as I hold my coffee to my chest. His black hair is spiked
haphazardly, yet a few loose tendrils across his face give him the mysterious
edge that I imagine his groupies love. The T-shirt he wears is torn,
fashionably so, and just enough that I can get a glimpse as the ink he hides
below.
I sip my
coffee with a smirk.
He leans
forward, the studded cuff on his left wrist making a soft clink as it hits the
timber surface.
“Ohmygod,”
the horn bag breathes in one rushed syllable as she arrives at my table. “I
can’t believe you’re in here.”
The cocky
asshole drags his gaze from me and smiles at her, laying on the charm. “Good
place to get a coffee, right?”
“The best,”
she gushes, oblivious to the intense standoff she interrupted.
I sit back
and sip my latte, sizing up the woman. She seems to be in her late twenties,
early thirties at most. What surprises me is that she’s dressed like a soccer
mom. Not exactly what I’d expect a fan of a man kitted out in denim, leather,
and enough chains to rival a prison warden to look like.
“Can you
sign this?”
“Kris leave
me any room?” He takes the napkin from her, brushing his fingers over hers.
The woman
damn near comes on the spot. Slick move,
asshole.
“I think
there’s a space up here.” And in one swift move, Soccer Mom transforms to
Desperate Housewife with the tilt of her hips. The blouse that mere seconds ago
demurely hid her assets now hangs like a slack sail in the Dead Sea, giving the
cocky asshole to my left the perfect view of her ample tits.
Shoot me if
I ever turn into one of those.
“Thanks.”
He takes the pen she offers and then scratches a quick message for her like he
probably has a million times before.
She leaves
with her smile a little wider, and her panties more than likely a darn sight
wetter.
“Excuse
me.” I pull my phone out, amused to find him frowning at me in my periphery.
“What are
you doing?” He leans closer to see my screen, wafting what has to be pure
pheromones under my nostrils. How the
fuck do they make men’s cologne so addictive?
“I’m
googling your name, since you won’t introduce yourself properly.”
He laughs,
the rich sound traveling throughout the shop as his bandmate, Kris, returns
with a table number.
“Shouldn’t
you have like a private coffee shop, or something?” I sass. “Don’t celebrities
like you get places shut down so they can drink in peace?” The result comes up
on my screen, along with an assortment of very hot performance shots. Damn, this man can rock studs.
“She’s
kidding right?” Kris mumbles to the cocky asshole.
“I don’t
think so.” He smiles at me, leaning back casually in his seat. “I can’t believe
you don’t know my name.” The jerk spreads his legs wide, a denim-clad knee
perilously close to my thigh.
“Do you
know every stranger you meet’s name?” I lift an eyebrow at him. “Rey?
“Babe, I’m
not a stranger.” Fucker still smiles. “I haven’t had to introduce myself for
the past four and half years.”
“Since we
first made Billboard,” Kris adds quietly.
I like him.
He’s not in-your-face like this jackass to my left. He’s quiet, humble even. He actually makes me want to hold a
conversation with him.
Rey, on the
other hand…. “You’re a little full of yourself, aren’t you?”
Kris smiles
behind his linked hands, elbows on the table.
“Would you prefer to be full of me?” Rey
wiggles a pierced eyebrow.
“You have
to be shitting me,” I mumble, looking away.
“You never
answered my question, Tabitha,” Rey
taunts. “Or can I call you Tabby, since you’re like a wild cat, all claws and
snarl?”
I almost
smile at his comment… almost.
“Tabitha.”
I look back at the guy, pissed at myself for recognizing that he is in fact
pretty damn good-looking. Bastard. “And
I play classical. A little bit of crossover.”
“Classical.”
Rey looks like he’s fit to burst. “People still listen to that?”
“They do.”
I give him a hard stare, and then shift focus to Kris. “In all honesty, I am
surprised you two don’t have security or some kind of protection if you’re that
shit hot.”
He lifts an
inked finger and points to a burly guy outside the shop. If I didn’t know
better, I’d think the man was Joe Public. He’s big, sure, but he’s dressed in
sweats and a T-shirt. No earpiece, no Secret Service-style shades. He just
looks… normal.
“I think
his name’s Pete,” Kris mumbles. “He turned up late. Hence why you got in.”
“You think his name is Pete?” I snort a
laugh.
“He’s not
our normal crew,” Rey fills in. “Hired while we’re in town.”
“Oh.”
Frustrated by how quickly the conversation has turned comfortable, I redirect
back to the issue at hand. “Can I ask why you’re at my table?”
“We need
coffee.” Rey shrugs.
“At my table, though?”
“Figured we
got off on the wrong foot.” He wrinkles his nose. It’s cute. No it’s not. Focus, Tab.
“Can’t
blame me for that.” I take a nonchalant sip of my coffee… and promptly choke on
a bubble of foam that gets stuck on the roof of my mouth near my throat. Slick.
“Can’t
blame us, either,” Rey retorts.
It’s okay, asshole. I don’t need a pat on the
back or anything. Just unable to breathe for a beat there, but you just take it
easy, okay?
“Rick
organized the whole thing,” he finishes, unfazed by the tears teetering on the
rims of my eyes.
“You okay?”
“Yeah,
Kris. I am now. Thanks.” I wipe the moisture away before I end up looking
bat-shit crazy with mascara down my face.
“Where you
from?”
“Pardon?” I
glare at Rey.
“Your
accent. You’re not American.”
I give the
muppet a slow clap.
His
nostrils flare when a few customers look across at our table. “Are you
Austral—”
I lift a
palm to stop him. “Don’t say it.”
“What?”
“Don’t you
dare assume I’m Australian. There’s more than one country down there, you
know.”
He stares
at me, blank. Fuck my life.
“Kris, help
him out here.” I down the last of my coffee.
“New
Zealand,” he murmurs to Rey.
“Oh.” His
face stays blank as a clean slate.
“You’ve
heard of it, right?” I ask.
“Of course
I have,” he scoffs.
“But you
didn’t know where it was.”
He smiles,
and damn it all if that doesn’t make me do so too. Stay strong. I can’t fawn over this guy like every other female on
the planet, not when my objective is to make his life hell. Not that I know how I’m going to do that
just yet.
“Geography
was never my thing,” he explains as Kendall brings their drinks over.
She sets
Rey’s down first, and then throws me a sneaky look behind his back before
setting Kris’s before him.
“Later,” I mouth while both boys are distracted adding
sugar.
She gives
me her don’t test me eye, and then
leaves.
“Well,” I
announce, pushing my empty cup to the middle of the table. “This has been
swell, guys, but I really must press on.”
I get
halfway to my feet before a strong hand to my thigh shunts me back in the
chair. Holy hell, that was intense.

“Sit.” Rey
stirs his coffee, eyes on the amber swirl. “I’m not finished with you yet.”

Our 5 Stars Reviews of King’s Wrath by Nina Levine

by Nina Levine
Genres: MC Romance

The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated King’s Wrath by Nina Levine is now available on all ebook retailers.

Finally meet the enigma that is King.

Our love wasn’t like everyone else’s.
There wasn’t a first date or flowers and gifts.
We didn’t have a song or cute nicknames for each other.
There were no calls during the day to check in with me, no coming home to cook me dinner, and no foot massages at the end of a long day.
That wasn’t how he loved.
But love me he did.
Madly, deeply, passionately, completely.
King loved with everything he had.
He just loved a little differently to most.

This is King’s story. From the beginning. All the ugly and all the beautiful, by the end of this duet you will come to understand the man behind the club.

King’s story will be told over two books – King’s Wrath & King’s Reign.

REVIEWS

Ah King! Such a complex character and one I have eagerly waited to get to know better. Being back with the Sydney Storm boys is a treat, one definitely worth waiting for from this author, who only produces quality work.

Zachary Brown was born into a hard life and lived a hard life until he was taken under the wing of his foster parents Margreet and Dale King, who later adopted him. I’d like to say that things were rosy and peachy for King from then on however that’s not real life and it certainly wasn’t for him. Ivy, another foster child in the system, and he became extremely close. A deep love developed but the relationship was also very volatile.

This story starts when King is nine then jumps years to pertinent times in his life in part one. Part two is based on present day which helps to keep things organised and clear in reader’s minds. I have to admit that I felt very protective towards King, the big bad biker? Yes, definitely! I wanted to wrap him up in cotton wool and ease the tension and stresses of his life.

Enter Lily, a smart-mouthed, strong woman who has a heart of gold. Her mother is a little on the eccentric side but fun to read about and her sister is a sister every woman would like to have for real. (Her situation, set up by their mum, is a hoot too!) Lily’s ex, Linc, …now he is a totally different story and I could cheerfully clobber him over the head! 😳

Plenty of action, drama and passion to light up a movie screen…actually the series would make a great transition onto film! A few twists to stir things up and make it interesting adds to this cocktail of goodness. I totally recommend you start at the beginning, if you haven’t, then feast on the whole series knowing this is waiting for you to gobble up!

Wow what an intense read.. King is in the middle of a crisis, his club, his family and an ex makes for one complicated story of love, hate and vengeance! We finally learn of Kings past, his childhood… what makes him into the strong, loyal, crazy MC president he is today. This book was everything I was hoping for and so much more… it was a powerful story with an amazing message I cannot wait for its fabulous conclusion!!

Reviewed by Nat

The King has arrived and OMG was he worth the delays and waiting. I knew he would overpower the rest of The Storm men but didn’t quite see it to the extent that it was. King is all consuming and I was hooked from the first word.

This book is a two-part book, really divided by time. You get a small glimpse of what created the beast, as well as what fuels it. The story has more to come and I think that is when the true wrath of King will be shown. He has loved and lost so many times throughout his life, he isn’t willing to lose ever again and at the end of the book, you see him walk away again not through hate but through love and protection.

I really loved all the characters in this book and I loved just how strong the women are. King needs a strong woman and all that has been and that is in his life, have balls and are no-nonsense, smart-mouthed, sassy, bold women, that can take care of what’s theirs. Ivy and Jen fitted that bill for some time.  But I think Lily is the one to finally tame our beast. If only he would just calm his storm and open his heart.

This book is fantastic and a huge recommend from me. Bring on the final. I can’t wait.

Must Read!! Check out Our Reviews of Madman by WS Greer

by WS Greer
Genres: Dark Romance, Thriller/Suspense
Title: Madman
Series: Love & Chaos #1
Author: WS Greer
Genre:  Dark Romance/Thriller
Release Date: February 5, 2018

Eyecandy Bookstore – “WS is a natural story teller in a raw, in your face kind of way.”

Natalie Weston – “THIS BOOK!!!!!! Madman was my introduction to W.S. Greer and I have to say what an introduction it was.”

#Minxes Love Books – “A beautifully dark, twisted and well written story that takes you hostage and will hold your attention right to the very end…”

People fear what they don’t understand. Maybe that’s why they all fear me. I’m sure they have their reasons, I just couldn’t possibly care what any of them are. As long as they’re afraid.

Born to a drug dealer father and a drug addict mother, I’ve been through enough to make a normal person lose their mind five times over. I’m not normal. Normal is for weak people, and I’m anything but weak.

My childhood was made of nightmares, but there was one light in all my darkness. Her name was Reina Wilde, and when my mother would hit me or pass out in the middle of the living room on her high, I would confide in her. We were from completely different worlds, but she meant something to me, though I never figured out what, because she left. In the years that followed, I built a reputation for myself, and let go of any and all deluded notions of love.

I’ll never go straight now. It’s just too much fun taking things from people who are powerless to stop me. And make no mistake about it, I take what I want, from who I want, when I want.

I’m infamous in this city. But everything changes when, after years apart, I finally see Reina again, and she’s standing next to my enemy–the underboss of the Philadelphia mob.

It’s not just about power anymore. It’s not about respect. No, this is personal now.

Gasoline has been thrown on the flame, and for Reina, I’m about to burn the whole world to the ground.

OMG!! What an amazing book that was it was one of the best books I have I read for a long time. The title describes Solomon King to a T and what a character he really was but he wasn’t alone in the chaos that flew from the pages of this book. His sidekick and best friend Nix was very much a part of it. Reina also plays a huge role in the power plays in this book

This story starts on the troubles streets of Strawberry Mansions and how two young men refused to let their upbringings define who they were. They were going places whatever it took. To say they did anything to make there lives better is an understatement. In amongst the chaos, there is a broken love story between Solomon and Reina and it’s a beautiful one at that. I can’t tell you why and how it was broken because where’s the fun in that.

The Characters, yes all of them provided a fantastic story that just kept you hooked and wanting more destruction. Solomon was Bat Shit Crazy, you can’t deny but he also had a little caring side but his early life made him change from a fragile boy whom just couldn’t take any more of the kicks that life gave him.

This book is a huge recommend from me. Another contender for book of the year. But be warned it’s not a book of sunshine and flowers.

Solomon King met Reina Wilde the day he turned seventeen and she was nearly fifteen, both similar but also very different at the same time. Quickly becoming ‘friends’, which is unusual seeing as Solomon doesn’t really make friends!
That is until she vanishes!

This is a fast-paced book and very easy to read, not because it’s sunshine and rainbows-far from it- however, it’s written extremely well. This is the first book by this author that I have read but I’m positive it won’t be the last! He uses very emotive language that helps to give an extremely clear visual such as: ’embrace’ situations and no ‘regard’ to what is happening and feeling ‘livid’. WS Greer certainly takes his readers on a tumultuous emotional hurdy-gurdy.

A sarcastic wit is a tool used when Solomon reflects about his life. This author doesn’t beat around the bush, he shoots straight from the hip with his words, expressions and descriptions. Readers are never in doubt of what is happening.

The underworld of crime starts to really heat up just as Reina reenters Solomon’s life. Should he trust her? That’s the big question! Reina is such a strong, gutsy character and hard not to like but then the same goes for Solomon who is super confident in his abilities and doesn’t take any rubbish from anybody.

The best news is that this is only book 1, there will be more to follow!

I owe everything to Levi. Everything. So when I fell for his girl, I did the only thing a good mate would do. I left. Ran. Six years in that hell hole trying to forget, trying to let them live and love each other. But I couldn’t stay away any longer.

And now I’m realising it wasn’t just her I’d fallen for.

Levi

He left us—spent years defending our country. He’s far more honourable than me. While I was living in paradise, happy, and in love with my gorgeous girl, he’s been facing horrors I can’t even imagine. It nearly broke me knowing he was there, and Katy and I were here.

Twenty years we’ve known each other. I’ve grown a lot in those years. But one thing hasn’t changed from the first day we met: we’re still inseparable.

Now I’m beginning to understand how, in another life, we could have been so much more.

Two’s company but three is even hotter!! Friends since they were kids, Connor and Levi were in love with the same girl… Connor left to join the army and returned years later to find that home is definitely where the heart is; and his heart was with his two best friends Levi and Katy. The chemistry between all three is electric; there’s is a slow burn that builds and builds… the angst and anguish is felt by all three of them at different times, all wanting the same thing but no-one is brave enough to make the first move!! Damn this story was hot, hot, hot… with tear jerking moments and a whole lot of love and laughter in the mix! A must read for all readers of ménage, love, angst and acceptance!! Ann you have done it again, this was a beautiful book and the start of a fabulous series I have no doubt xx

This author just keeps producing quality writing and blowing reader’s minds!

Connor left Katy and Levi, his best friends, due to being in love with Katy even knowing that Levi and Katy were a solid couple. Feeling despondent, he enlisted and spent most of his six years away fighting overseas. After being medically discharged he returns home, to his best friends but things are different and difficult for them all.

The overwhelming love these three characters have for each other is truly beautiful. The fears they face are very real and faced by many people today. Each character is described so well you actually feel like you know them, I especially felt I needed a trip to Katy’s bakery!

There are a variety of emotions experienced throughout the story, as you can imagine not all are positive. The confusion, heart brake and fear grip you however the joy and excitement in the story lifts you up incredibly. I have to admit that there is one part later in the story where I felt like smacking a couple of particularly narrow minded characters!

Above all else this is a love story, pure and..well maybe not so simple but guaranteed to leave you feeling fantastic!

Reviews

Where do I begin to describe this book and just I feel about it? I really don’t know and I was a little unsure about some of the content as I read it but I read it none the less and I am glad that I did. The creative mind of Tillie Cole is one that will have you completely baffled and wondering what, when and how the hell she comes up with these stories. I can truly say that I am glad that she writes these thoughts and limit provoking books as I am sure the world would be a little duller without her kind of dark.

This book as I said will provoke you, make you feel things that you have never felt before and caused a deep rage that you find hard to control.  I was angry at the world as I read this book. I was angry for the people in this story but also because I know that the world hides this stuff on a daily basis in plain sight but we just don’t see it for looking.

This story is Amazing, twisted and messed up but it’s a book that will stay with me for a long time to come and one that will see me looking at the world a little differently. After reading this book I will be a little less likely to turn a blind eye to a lot more.

This is a huge recommendation from me but be warned it not for the faint of heart or for those that have triggers. Go read this and enjoy……. Tick Tock!

Oh my this title is so apt! This author always stuns and amazes me with how she can create such dark stories where you feel every emotion deep inside!

Ellis lives at her family estate with her father and six uncles, her mother having passed away, a Mrs Jenkins was in charge of her day to day care. The groundskeeper’s young son, Heathan, came to live with him there and became firm friends with young Ellis. This is their story!

Tillie Cole does warn that there are possible triggers and that it’s a dark story…and it is! This is not a story that accepts the inappropriate behaviour, rather it highlights the disgust for it.

Very clever use of names from Heathan and the prisoner’s nicknames to the ‘Uncles’ personas given by Dolly and Rabbit. The whole correlation is genius!

The lead characters are so very different yet so easy to feel empathy for and compassion. There are some parts that are quite humorous like this thought of Heathan’s….
‘Dolly turned, and I saw the cashier try to make sense of what Dolly had said. Non-killers, I thought. So f***ing boring, living their mundane little lives.’
As well as some great vocabulary that is used expertly, like ‘bonkers’.

A few mysteries are wound through the story where, like a jigsaw puzzle, bit by bit is pieced together. The pictures are not pretty, they are devastating but answer many questions.

This is a very fast paced story and one that will blow your mind! Tick Tock! Tick Tock! Take the time to read this incredible tale.

Another fabulously dark psychological thrill ride by the wonderfully talented Tillie Cole!! I can’t begin to explain how this book made me feel… a story in which two characters had their souls completely destroyed and found in each other a f*&ked up bond that only the two of them could comprehend. Two unlikely friends… Dolly and Rabbit who were so cruelly ripped apart by a tragic twist of fate as children, only to be reunited 11 years later all grown up with hearts so black and vengeance on their minds. This was a book that will have you rethink all the fairy tales you were read as a child… down the rabbit hole we go!!

Rabbit turned off the country road we were on and pulled onto a dirt path. Bushy tree branches curled above us to create a tunnel. I leaned my head back and caught the last rays of sun slicing through the leaves. When I lifted my head I saw a building up ahead. A house made from wood stood before us.
Rabbit pulled the car to a halt. There were no sounds coming from this house. No screams or crying. Everything was just . . . silent.
Rabbit’s hands slid from the wheel, and without looking at me, he said, “This is where we’ll be staying for the next several days.”
I leaned forward and looked out of the window. “Your home?”
He shook his head. “The first stop on our adventure.” I looked at him and found his silver eyes were already on me. “We have many stops to go.”
My heart fluttered in nervous excitement. “And this is number one . . .” I whispered, more to myself than Rabbit.
Rabbit opened his door. I was still staring at the woods surrounding this place when my car door opened too. Rabbit stood, rabbit-headed cane in hand, waiting for me to leave the car. I swallowed back the nerves that were creeping up my throat and stepped out. The ground crunched beneath my shoes.
“This way.” Rabbit held his arm out toward the house. I fell into step beside him. I glanced all around us, searching for any sign of people. As if reading my mind, Rabbit said, “There is just you and I here for now. We will meet more people when our journey truly begins.”
“It has not begun?”
Rabbit led us to a wooden door and paused. Gripping the head of his cane tighter, he faced me and said, “Soon, darlin’. Before we go, we must prepare.” He opened the door. “But first . . . tea.”
My breath caught in my throat. Beyond the threshold lay the most perfect tea-party spread one ever did see. “Rabbit!” I gasped. My hands flew to my mouth. I took a step forward into the house and onward into the magical room just beyond. As I passed Rabbit I looked up to see him watching me. I moved swiftly to the long table in the center of the wooden-paneled room, and my eyes widened as I beheld the spread. A white tablecloth lay over the table. Tall seats were positioned around it—eight to be exact—and at each seat was set a plate, a teacup and a saucer. I ran my hand over the cloth and smiled at the silver-domed dishes in the center of the table. I looked behind me to find Rabbit, but he was nowhere in sight. Turning back to the table, I lifted the first silver dome to peek at what was underneath. My mouth watered when I saw strawberry tarts. Smiling in excitement, I skipped to the next. Victoria sponge. Desperate to see them all, I removed each cover—cucumber sandwiches, Bakewell tarts, Battenberg cake, carrot cake . . . so much cake! All of England’s finest delicacies.
My favorites.
A floorboard creaked behind me, and I turned to see Rabbit walking back into the room. I opened my mouth to ask him where everything came from, but then I spotted what he held in his hands.
“Tea?” I asked as Rabbit placed the silver tray, which held a teapot, a jug of milk and a bowl of sugar, on the table. I walked closer and closed my eyes as I inhaled deeply. “Earl Grey,” I whispered, smelling my absolute favorite tea in the entire world.
“Only ever Earl Grey for my little Dolly,” Rabbit confirmed and pulled out a chair for me. I sat down, and Rabbit tucked me in. He took the seat a few places down and gestured to the food. “Help yourself. After all, this tea party is in your honor.”
A giddy laugh escaped my throat as I reached forward and carefully selected a variety of cakes and sandwiches. When I had filled my plate, I took the teapot and poured myself a cup. Rabbit watched me with a peculiar look on his face. His lip was hooked at the corner, and his eyes were . . . soft. His eyes were never soft, always hard and focused, but as he looked at me now, they were almost gentle.
I swallowed, unsure what this strange feeling in my stomach was. I pressed my free hand to my stomach as a comfort against the strange tingling sensations inside. “Tea?” I offered, my voice barely above a whisper.
Rabbit nodded; not a word escaped his mouth. His gaze became more intense as I moved beside him and poured the steaming liquid into his cup. As my arm neared him, I felt him stiffen in his seat. Only a sliver of air prevented our limbs touching. His breathing grew labored as he watched me pour.
But we didn’t touch.
Clearing my throat, I placed the teapot back on the tray and moved to take my seat once again. Just as I took a step, an image floated into my head. Of me and Rabbit. Lips touching. My entire body tensed.
I heard Rabbit’s ragged breathing behind me. Goosebumps broke out along my body, chasing one another up my arms and up to the back of my neck. Shaking my head clear of the image, I sat back down.
I raised my eyes and found Rabbit watching me intensely. I lifted my teacup toward my lips. Rabbit did the same, but just as the lip of the teacup almost reached his mouth, I shouted, “Rabbit!” He froze. “Your little finger!” I scolded. I lowered my cup and shook my head. “You cannot drink tea without raising your little finger, silly!”
Rabbit exhaled, then bowed his head. “You’re right, darlin’. How could I forget?”

Blurb
Nineteen. There’s something about that number; it not only
brought us together, bonding us forever, it also played a hand in tearing us
apart.
The nineteenth of January 1996. I’ll never forget it. It was
the day we met. I was seven and she was six. It was the day she moved in next
door, and the day I developed my first crush on a girl.
Exactly nineteen years later, all my dreams came true when
she became my wife. She was the love of my life. My soul mate. My everything.
The reason I looked forward to waking up every morning.
Then tragedy struck. Nineteen days after we married, she was
in an accident that would change our lives forever. When she woke from her
coma, she had no memory of me, of us, of the love we shared.
I was crushed. She was my air, and without her I couldn’t
breathe.
The sparkle that once glistened her eyes when she looked at
me was gone. To her, now, I was a stranger. I had not only lost my wife, I had
lost my best friend.
But I refused to let this tragedy be the end of us. That’s
when I started to write her letters, stories of our life. Of when we met. About
the happier times, and everything we had experienced together.
What we had was far too beautiful to be forgotten.

Reviews

This could possible be the most beautiful book I have ever read. And to say that is a real hard thing for me. I don’t always please easy but this book is everything that you could possible ask for in a romance book. I have read other books by this author under JL Perry but this is although very similar it’s very different.

I was swept away in a beautifully written story that spans more than 20 years and to say it made me smile is under estimating it completely. The love that spilled from these pages was just amazing. The passion in the letters and the way the characters were made this book really special. It wasn’t an instant fix at all after Jem had her accident and the patience that Braxton shows is much more than I think I would have shown on occasions.

Jemma was very lost through this book and I really don’t know how or if I would ever be able to cope with such a feeling. The loneliness that she feels in this book is sad and I cried alot for Jem but in saying that I felt the same for Brax. He was lost too amd alone the world when his bestfriend, wife and the love of his life, no longer knew who he was. He couldn’t touch her or say anything really and that broke my heart into a million pieces. She was there but no longer his.

The supporting cast and the background stories really effected me as well and I feel they made this book stronger for it. You get to learn about back stories and how things were when they went through life together. This book is a huge recommend from me. It is definitely a contender for one of my books of the year. Don’t wait to read this book, Just do it.

Wow! This book really did blow me away… I didn’t want the beauty to end. It was heartfelt and so movin when you have a love as true and rare as Braxton and Jemma did it is one that can never be forgotten! I laughed and I cried… there were tears of sadness, joy, hope and happiness all throughout this book. I have to say that this story is now one of my most favourite reads of all time and one that I will go back to time and time again!

CHAPTER ONE
Jemma
It’s a wet
and dreary morning is the first thing I hear when the radio booms to life,
alerting me to the fact it’s time to get up.
Dreary
doesn’t even come close. The thought of no longer being able to spend every
waking minute with my gorgeous husband has already put a dampener on my day. I
can’t believe our time off together has come to an end. I hate that I have to
go back to work this morning, and leave the little bubble Braxton and I have
been living in for the past four weeks.
Right up
until the wedding, things were so busy with our careers, building our dream
house and organising our special day. Everything combined seemed to take away
from us being together. This one-on-one time we’ve had since tying the knot was
just what we both needed.
‘Morning,
Mrs Spencer.’
He rolls
onto his side, pulling me further into his warm, luscious body. It has been
exactly nineteen days since we exchanged wedding vows, and I’m still floating.
‘Morning,
Mr Spencer.’ I lean my forehead against his. ‘I’m not ready to go back to work.
I can’t stand the thought of spending the entire day without you.’
He chuckles
as his teeth nip at my pouting lip. ‘I feel exactly the same way, babe. Our
time off has gone way too quick. We should have taken two months off, instead
of one.’
Despite him
being a constant figure in my daily life, for the past nineteen years, I still
get a rush when I think about what our future together holds.
I met
Braxton when my parents and I moved in next door. We were just kids, but we’ve
been inseparable ever since. He’s my one and only. He always has been, and
always will be. He’s not only the love of my life; he’s my best friend, my soul
mate, my forever boy.
He’s
incredibly dreamy, with his movie-star looks. I run my fingers through his
sandy blond hair as my eyes roam over his perfectly sculpted face; his big blue
eyes pop against his tanned skin. He has a smile that makes my knees weak. His
front tooth turns in ever so slightly, but it takes nothing away from his
Colgate-worthy smile.
When he
realises I’m checking him out, the sexy grin that I adore appears on his face.
It highlights the cute dimple in his left cheek. To this day, he still manages
to turn my insides to mush, but it’s his inner beauty that affects me the most.
‘I could
always call in sick,’ I say, perking up for a moment, but in reality I know
it’s not possible. I have a big client coming in first thing Monday morning,
and I need to prepare.
‘If I
didn’t have this damn meeting later this morning, I’d say do it,’ he replies,
smiling.
‘I’m going
to miss you.’
‘I’m going
to miss you too, Jem. The past four weeks have been my kind of heaven.’
I sigh.
‘I’d give anything to be back in Kauai right now.’
My fingers
move from his hair and skim down the side of his face as I speak. The beach has
always been our favourite place. That’s why we built our dream home overlooking
the ocean. The soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore as I
drift off to sleep every night, and the sweet smell of sea air first thing in
the morning . . . it’s cathartic. It’s also one of the reasons we chose
Hawaii—a beautiful villa on the majestic shores of Tunnels Beach—as the place
to spend the first two weeks of our married life.
‘Me too.’
He gives me a wistful look. ‘I’ll take you back there over the Christmas break,
I promise.’
‘I’d like
that.’ My fingertips dance over his collarbone, before moving across his
shoulder. When I run a path down his strong back, he groans.
I sigh
again when I think that Christmas is ten months away, but I guess we have the
rest of our lives together to create the kind of memories we did in Hawaii.
Untangling
my legs from his, I pause briefly. I don’t want to leave him. I exhale a
drawn-out breath. ‘I suppose I better jump in the shower.’
‘Would you
like some company?’
Reaching
for me, he rolls onto his back, taking me with him. I laugh when he wiggles his
eyebrows. I straddle his waist before covering his mouth with mine. My shower
can wait. Making love to my man is much more important.
Sliding
forward, I line myself up. His strong hands grip my hips, and we moan in unison
as I sink down onto him. My eyes lock with his as I slowly rock my body against
him. ‘I love you, Brax.’
‘I love you
too, Jem. So much.’
He reaches
for my hands, lacing his fingers through mine. We’ve always had such a strong
bond, but when we’re connected like this, we become one. I’ll never tire of
these feelings he evokes in me.
There are
times I feel guilty because together, we’re perfect. None of our friends have
the kind of relationship Braxton and I do. What we have is unbreakable.
Sometimes my feelings for him overwhelm me. I’m not sure how either of us would
survive without the other.
As I rush
around putting the finishing touches on my make-up, I catch a glimpse of
Braxton in the mirror. He’s leaning up against the doorframe watching me get
ready. He’s shirtless and wearing a pair of grey sweats that hang low on his
hips. My pulse quickens as my eyes rake over his bare chest, and each delicious
muscle that defines his torso, from the perfect V just above the waistband, right
up to his washboard abs. One of my favourite things to do is watch him work out
on the small home gym he set up in the garage. I don’t think he even realises
how sexy he is. Growing up, he didn’t notice the way all the girls swooned over
him. But I did.
My eyes
move back to his, and the adoring look on his face sends my heart into a
flutter. The sheer love I feel for this man consumes every fibre of my being.
It’s euphoric.
‘How long
have you been standing there?’ I ask as my mouth curves into a smile.
‘I’m just
admiring my beautiful wife.’ I love hearing him call me his wife.
He pushes
off the doorframe and stalks towards me. When his arms encircle my waist, he
pulls me back into him. A soft moan falls from my mouth as his lips trail a
path up my neck. I tilt my head to the side, allowing him better access.
‘I’m
already running late,’ I breathe.
‘I wish you
didn’t have to go.’ His warm breath on my skin leaves goosebumps in its wake.
‘Me
either.’
‘The next
eight hours are going to feel like an eternity.’
I sigh in
agreement. ‘I know.’
His tongue
glides over the sensitive spot behind my ear, sending shivers down my spine. He
did that on purpose. ‘Don’t make any plans for tonight, because I’m taking you
out to dinner.’
‘You’re
taking me out? Where?’
‘The Sea
Shanty.’ He groans as he sucks my earlobe into his mouth.
‘What’s the
special occasion?’
‘Our
anniversary.’
My eyes fly
open to meet his in the mirror. ‘Our what?’ My mind starts to race. What anniversary?
He turns me
in his arms so I’m facing him, and pulls a small black box from his pocket. ‘I
was going to give this to you tonight, but I want you to have it now. Happy
nineteenth anniversary, sweetheart.’
My hands
tremble slightly as I take hold of the box. That’s when I remember that today
we have been married for nineteen days, and a huge smile breaks out on my face.
The number nineteen has always held special significance for us.
Tears of
happiness pool in my eyes as I open the lid. Inside I find a white-gold
necklace that’s holding a diamond-encrusted number-nineteen pendant.
‘Oh
Braxton, it’s beautiful. I love it . . . I love you.’
He smiles
as he tucks a lock of hair behind my ear. ‘I can’t wait to spend the rest of my
life with you, Jem.’
‘Same.’
A lump
forms in my throat and I feel like I’m choking back tears. I use my hand to fan
my eyes; I don’t have time to redo my make-up.
Taking the
box out of my hand, he removes the necklace. ‘Turn around, and hold up your
hair.’ I do as he asks, gathering my long brown hair on top of my head so he can
fasten the necklace. ‘Perfect,’ he says, planting a soft kiss on my skin at the
base of my neck.
My
fingertips glide over the pendant as I admire it in the mirror. ‘Thank you . .
. I’ll treasure it.’
Sliding his
arms around my waist again, he rests his chin on my shoulder, and his eyes meet
mine in the mirror. ‘You know, I’ve been thinking . . .’
‘That could
be dangerous.’
I laugh
when he pokes my side.
‘I want you
to stop taking the pill.’
I feel my
heartbeat accelerate as I swing around to face him. ‘You do?’
‘Yes. It’s
time we gave it another try, Jem. I want to see our baby growing inside you.’
I swipe my
finger under my eye to catch the stray tear that has fallen. ‘I want that too,
but what about my job? We just took out a second mortgage to build this house .
. . we need the money.’
He exhales
before continuing. ‘I know how much your career means to you, but you’re giving
so much of yourself to that bastard, Andrew. We both know he doesn’t appreciate
you. Why don’t you think about setting up your own interior design business
from home? That way you’d be here to look after our son, and still be able to
do what you love.’
‘Or our
daughter,’ I say with a smile.
‘As long as
our baby is healthy, I don’t care what sex it is.’ I bow my head as memories of
that day flood my mind. I want this so badly, but I’m scared.
‘Can we
talk more about it tonight over dinner? Andrew’s going to chew me out if I
don’t get to the office soon.’
‘He better
not!’
I run my
finger over his forehead, trying to flatten out the crinkles of his frown. I
love how protective he is. He hates the way my boss treats me, but he’d never
interfere because he knows how much I love what I do.
The rain
has eased by the time I’m ready to leave, but Braxton still insists on walking
me out so I don’t get wet. ‘Bye,’ I say reluctantly, when we come to a stop
beside my car.
‘Don’t let
Andrew keep you any later than needed.’
‘I won’t,’
I say, placing my lips against his. ‘Good luck with your meeting. They’re going
to love the new design.’
‘I hope so.’
He opens the driver’s-side door, and moves the umbrella closer to shield me
from the rain. ‘Be careful on the roads, they’ll be slippery.’
‘I will.
Stop worrying.’
‘I’ll
always worry where you’re concerned, Jem. It’s my job to look after you.’
I smile up
at him once I’m seated. ‘I love how much you love me.’
‘That’ll
never change,’ he says, winking, as he closes my car door.
My heart
feels heavy as I blow him a kiss and reverse out of the driveway . . . I miss
him already.
I’m driving
cautiously but still faster than usual on my way to work. I know I shouldn’t,
considering the roads are slippery from all the rain, but the backlog of work
I’m going to face from being on holidays for a month is making my stomach knot.
Just the thought of facing Andrew in one of his moods this morning is quickly
undoing all the calm I’ve felt while being away from him. Braxton’s idea of
starting my own business is sounding better by the second.
I smile to
myself as I replay his words in my head. My fingertips lightly skim over my
stomach. I’d like nothing more than to have his baby growing inside me again.
‘Shit,’ I
mumble to myself when the heavens open up. I turn the wiper speed up to full,
but visibility is still poor. I can barely see the car in front of me now. I
jump when my phone starts to ring. I grip the wheel tightly with my right hand
as I reach across the passenger seat, my hand blindly fumbling in my bag as I
try to find it.
I just know
that it’s Andrew wondering where I am; I should have been there fifteen minutes
ago. My chest tightens just thinking about it.
My eyes
leave the road for a split second as I glance down at the screen. I was right,
it’s him. As I attempt to accept the call, I hear the loud sound of an angry
horn, and the screech of tyres. My head snaps to the left as my body is thrown
violently sidewards. The sickening crunching sound of metal is almost
deafening.
Images of
Braxton and our life together flash through my mind as a crushing sensation
consumes the right side of my body. My head connects with the driver’s-side
window, and the sound of shattering glass fills my ears.
Oh god. I don’t want to die.
‘Braxton .
. . Braaaax,’ I cry out as the world around me stills, and I succumb to the
darkness.

What an amazing book and a fantastic end to this series. This book was everything that you want from a Rockstar romance. Although in saying that it was very light on the music front. The way the story flowed from the pages giving you insight to previous events that appeared in the other books was just what made this great.

The chemistry that was very clear from the beginning. The very first interaction and meeting between Matt and Alex just sizzled and left you screaming at them through the pages. This book is about friendship, hope, belonging and finding that what you wish for isn’t necessarily what is you need or really want.

Matt seems so lost through this book and in Alex he finds a best friend, partner in crime and just everything. Alex who is bolshy, confident in her own skin and everything he believes he doesn’t want but as she is alone in the world she finds it hard to trust. She has her barriers that were created by circumstance and quirky ways. But she never beats around the bush.

This is a beautiful love story that just made my emotions sing. I cried at the drop of a hat and laughed hard too. K.E Osbourn has a way with words that just sweeps you away with the story and you feel like you are part of the action.

This book, series and author are a huge recommend from me. I have no doubt that you will fall in love with these amazing characters and the music world that they all appear in. My love affair with these character and the Rockstar world that K.E Osbourn created started a long time ago with a whole different band that encouraged all of these bands and stories on.

What a fantastic love story, another terrific book from this amazing author. I have never read a book by KE Osborn that has been anything but sensational, she is a definite automatic one click preorder for me as she always delivers quality.

Nate is lamenting the loss of Ria but is fully engrossed in his painting and new art gallery. Alex, his gallery manager, a quirky, colourful and upbeat person but with a sad history as well. Enter Matt, Nate’s twin brother and another member of the band, Recoil! Determined to find his ‘perfect woman’ according to his list of ten qualities she must have, he sets out on an internet dating excursion and drags Alex along for the ride as they become close friends.

Written from both Matt and Alex’s points of view gives good insight into their characters. This is a fast paced book that leaves you feeling fabulous and complete as everything is tied up nicely in this final book of the series, all questions or queries answered.

Great humour including the characters ability to laugh at themselves as well as compassion and tenderness. I found I experienced the full gambit of emotions and at times sniffling back tears or laughing out loud!

Both Matt and Alex had a physical attraction from the beginning and at times I wanted to tell them to stop and really see the other for more than a friend, a good sign when an author can get readers this invested in the story!

5 Stars from Rockstar Book Muse – “Well first off I am a true believer that KE Osborn is my go to rocker writer. This Recoil series had me from book 1.”

5 Stars from Konny – “I love the writing and I love the storyline. I love the words , I could feel the characters emotions in the words. And I LOVE; LOVE; LOVE the dedication!!”

Loss—the failure to keep someone or something.

I know all about loss, and the resulting damage can do more harm than good.
Losing everything in one fell swoop… yeah, Karma’s definitely not on my side.

My life has been somewhat monotonous. Look after my twin. Play in the band. Party like a rock star.
Women have filtered in but never stayed, and now that my band mates have all settled down, I’m looking for something… more.

My problem? I’m a perfectionist, and I desire a particular type of woman. I don’t want groupies or fangirls, they’re not my scene anymore.
No, I want the perfect ten. And I’m counting on an internet dating guidance guru to help me find her.

But I’m not doing this alone. My brother’s friend and gallery manager, Alex, is along for the internet dating ride, and we’re doing this ‘dating thing’ together for support.
And in doing so, we’ve become the best of friends. Inseparable one would say.

Now with chaos surrounding me—being arrested, accosted by thugs, and all the drama that comes with my internet dating life—it’s forced a wedge between us, and I’m faced with losing her forever.
And it’s only now I see what’s been in front of me the whole time.
You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone…

I honestly didn’t think I could fall harder for a Stanton more than I did for Joshua, but Cameron may have just taken to lead….

OMFG!!!! This book!! TL Swan is one of my favourite all time storytellers and she had me captivated again with this beautifully written story. The chemistry between Cameron and Ashley totally escapes the pages and sinks into your heart making you feel everything they go through as if you are living it with them.

I can’t tell you in words how much I love this story and these characters expect to tell you to freaking buy the book!!! You won’t regret it!

What a great book this was, Yep the name Stanton does something to me, but this time it isn’t the infamous Joshua that rocks our world it is Cameron the swoonworthy Dr that melts panties with a click of his fingers and a swipe of his tongue.

This story is brilliantly written and the shocks and secrets that unfold leave you stunned and quite frankly gobsmacked. I really didn’t see any of it coming. The clever way this story is told just hold you captivate. Will it be possible to forgive and forget. Can they move forward and look past things, will the trust ever return. Mmm you’ll have to read and see.

The chemistry between Cameron and Ashley was combustible, which is probably the best way to describe it. Although Cameron is a strong, demanding, hot as hell alpha. Ashley outshines them all with her no nonsense ways. Her take no prisoner attitude and for once Cameron’s and Joshua’s mother get told and it’s the part if the book that I just loved so much. It’s rare to see a female written like Ashley but she was the star of the show for me.

This book is a must, must read for me and a book I am sure to revisit a time of two. When I need a damn right dirty read, although the Stanton brothers are great competition for that role. If you do anything worthy this summer it will be to go grab this great book.

I frown as
the man covered in perspiration clings to me once more, oh for heavens sake.
“Do you mind?” I frown as I rip my arm from his grip. The music is pumping and I
am waiting at the bar.
“Not at
all.” He slurs.
Oh god, my
eyes flick over to my group of friends and they all smile and raise their
glasses to me in jest. Damn them. This hens weekend away is reminding me why I
am eternally single. I fake a smile, bitches.
“I mean it
baby, let’s dance.”
I roll my
eyes. “I can’t, I’m waiting for someone, you should probably run along.”
“Who?” he
asks. Oh give up, pushy bastard.
A tall and
dark haired good looking guy walks past and I grab him by the arm, he frowns as
he turns back toward us. “This guy. “I smirk.
The creepy
guy frowns and curls his lip at his competition.
My eyes
scan up and down the guy I have just grabbed, oh, he’s gorgeous. I planned that
well.
The guy
raises an eyebrow in question as his eyes flick between us.
“This is my
husband.” I smile as I link my arm through his. He looks like a nice guy, I’m
sure he will save me.
The tall
guy raises an eyebrow in surprise and smiles. “And you are my …….wife?” He
questions as his eyes flick between me and them man.
I nod.
“Aha.” Oh boy, don’t blow my cover.
Tall dark
and handsome turns his gaze onto the man before us as he snakes his arm around
my waist. “You have met my gorgeous wife then?”
I narrow my
eyes as I listen to his voice, I think he’s Australian.
The creepy
guy narrows his eyes. “You don’t know him.” He sneers. “I don’t believe you.”
Tall dark
and handsome smirks and leans over and grabs the back of my head and pulls me
towards him, his tongue rims my lips and he sucks on my mouth, his tongue takes
no prisoners as it swipes deep into my mouth….what the frigging hell? His hand
drops to my behind and he squeezes the cheek in his hand. Oh my god, this was
not in the brochure.
He pulls
away and licks his lips as his eyes drop to my breasts and back up to my face.
I fake a
smile as my mind goes totally blank. “Huh.” My eyes flick back to the other guy
as I lick my lips, holy crap. What kind of kiss was that? “Umm.”
Tall dark
and handsome takes my hand in his. “Fuck off mate, she’s with me.” He then pulls
me by the hand through the crowd, what, wait, where are we going? My eyes flick
over to my friends who are all high fiving each other over my random kiss with
Mr Holy Hot. Should I just pull out of his grip? What the hell for, this guy is
freaking delicious. Oh shit, we arrive over to his group of friends and he puts
his arm around my waist and pulls my body close to his.
“Boys.” He
acknowledges his large group of friends. “You will be pleased to know I just
got married en route from the bar. Please meet my new wife.”
Their eyes
meet and they all shake their heads and laugh. “Hello.” They all smile. “Nice
to meet you.” One man replies as he shakes my hand.
I smirk as his hand tightens around my waist.
“About
time.” One guy says as he shakes his hand. “Congratulations mate, what’s your
wife’s name?”
His eyes
flick to me and he smiles sexily again. “Blossom.”
 I laugh out loud. “Blossom?”
His friends all look me up and down and smile
and then go back to their conversation as if this is a common occurrence.
His eyes
drop to my breasts again.
“My eyes
are up here.” I reply, he can’t even pretend not to stare.
He picks up
his beer and drinks it down. “So?”
I frown, of
all the nerve. “So, you keep looking at my boobs.”
“You
noticed?”
My mouth
drops open in. “Well, I’m not imaging it.”

I really didn’t think JA Low books could get any better, but BOY was I wrong!!! I freaking loved the story of Christian and Vanessa. Christian is one HOT bad boy and made me go gah gah!!!!! Yep! I said that out loud. But I also have to admit I did want to slap with up the side of head for being a stupid dick as well.

I heart bled for Vanessa, but she was also her worst enemy at times, gahh! the angst. It was great to catch up with the rest of the band and I am so looking forward to the next chapter in the INSANELY Fab Series!

Where, Oh Where do I begin with this review. This book was bloody awesome and I just can’t believe how good it was. The story was amazing, raw and heartbreaking.

I cried a lot reading this book and was left wanting to kill Christian on numerous occasions. How he acted in this book was unforgivable. Vanessa was very stupid and stubborn too, to say least and how they both acted made this story what it was but God I  needed to slap the pair of them.

I loved the whole book and especially how all the other characters play a huge parts in the story. And how you also see parts of their stories unfold. Which I can’t wait to read.

JA Low is fast becoming a go to Author for me. If you love a friends to lovers, second chance romance and Rockstars you will love The Suddenly Series and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
